Development and Verification of the Capacity Curve for Two Dimensional Reinforced Concrete Moment-Resisting Frames System under Earthquake Loading

چکیده

Pushover analysis is an efficient method for the seismic evaluation of buildings under severe earthquakes. This paper aims to develop and verify pushover methodology reinforced concrete frames. technique depends on a nonlinear representation structure by using SAP2000 software. The properties plastic hinges will be defined generating moment-curvature all frame sections (beams columns). verification above was compared with previous study two-dimensional frames (4-and 7-story frames). former leaned automatic identification positive negative moments, where steel reinforcement quantities source these moments. comparison results between two methodologies carried out in terms capacity curves. conducted highlighted essential points. It included potential differences default user-defined hinge modeling. effect length transverse shear curves also observed. Accordingly, it can considered that current this more logistic three-dimensional structures.
